INDUSTRY:

About the customer

The company is a leading manufacturer of automotive protection and accessory products, serving both consumer and business markets. Its catalog spans floor mats, cargo liners, and other vehicle protection accessories sold through its own Ecommerce site, retail partners, and major online marketplaces.

Technologies involved

Aprimo DAM

Optimized and implemented as the central asset platform

Inriver PIM

Realigned to support governance and syndication

Background

As the company’s catalog and channel footprint grew, its digital asset and product information processes needed to scale alongside them. Content was spread across legacy systems, spreadsheets, and various drives, making it difficult to maintain reliable sources of truth.

Fragmented Product & Asset Content

Teams often needed to check multiple locations to confirm they had the latest spec sheet, image, or product attribute, adding time to everyday tasks and product launches.

Disconnected DAM & PIM Workflows

Product data and DAM workflows weren’t fully aligned, so updates didn’t always carry cleanly between systems. Inconsistencies could surface downstream as incorrect images, outdated attributes, or inaccurate listings.

Syndication Challenges

Retail partners and marketplaces had different content requirements, meaning upstream inconsistencies often required manual correction once product information reached its destination.

Search & Data Quality

Incomplete or inconsistently structured product data made it harder to find and confidently select the right assets, increasing reliance on institutional knowledge rather than the systems themselves.

"We'd outgrown our old system years before we admitted it. People had built their own workarounds just to get through the day, which told us the platform wasn't serving anyone anymore. When we evaluated Orange Logic, what stood out was that it could actually handle the complexity of six business units without forcing us into one rigid structure. That flexibility, without giving up governance, is what made the decision easy."

Objectives

Centralize Product & Asset Content

Create structured, reliable environments for managing digital assets and product information.

Strengthen DAM & PIM Alignment

Improve the connection between assets, product data, and the channels where that content is used.

Improve Data Quality

Resolve metadata inconsistencies and gaps to improve search, governance, and downstream accuracy.

Streamline Syndication

Support more consistent distribution of product information to B2B partners and marketplaces.

Automate Content Operations

Reduce manual handling through structured workflows and stronger governance.

Our Approach

Migrate & Structure

We migrated the company's digital assets to Aprimo and restructured how master assets and renditions were managed. This created an organized foundation designed to support automation and reuse.

Clean & Govern

We conducted extensive cleanup across product and asset data, correcting metadata, resolving inconsistencies, and refining naming conventions and classifications around business-critical terminology.

Connect & Automate

We refined Inriver to strengthen product data governance and syndication.

We also built structured Aprimo workflows to support long-term asset and metadata management with less manual oversight.

Results

With Aprimo supporting digital asset management and Inriver governing product information, the company now has a more connected foundation for managing and distributing product content.

"Avyre didn't just help us pick a platform, they helped us figure out what we actually needed before we ever looked at vendors. That discovery work saved us from making the same mistake twice. Now our teams can find what they need in seconds instead of emailing someone and waiting. We couldn't have gotten this far without them."
